Introduction to basic theories behind the digital production, manipulation, and output of photographic images. Through readings and production, students address major issues specific to working with images in an increasingly digital environment. Students are billed a materials fee. Prerequisite(s): Art 20C, 20I, 30, 32, 150, 156, 157, 158, or 159; and two of any non-photo lower-division studios (Art 15-40, or CMPS 25 or CMPM 25). Enrollment restricted to art majors. May be repeated for credit.
