Introduces the material practices of painting in combination with the formal vocabulary of the visual arts. A discussion of values, form, color, and figure/ground relationships enters into each class. Students are billed for a materials fee. Prerequisite(s): two courses from 10A, 10B, 10D, 10E, or 10F. Enrollment restricted to proposed art and art majors. (General Education Code(s): PR-C.)
