Intermediate/advanced studio course exploring the processes, history, and the recent developments in contemporary photomechanical printmaking. Through experimentation and research students learn how to utilize photographic imagery, blending them in multiple layers and colors, thereby facilitating articulation of their conceptual foundations. Students are billed a materials fee. Prerequisites: Art 20C, 20F, 20G, 25, 26, 27, 33, 36, 38,160B, 161B, 162A, 162B, 163A, 163B, 164A, 165, or 169; and two non-print lower-division media studios (Art 15-40 or CMPS 25 or CMPM 25). Enrollment restricted to art majors. May be repeated for credit.
