Provides students with firsthand experience developing new media artworks in relationship to the needs of specific communities and social struggles. Students develop content using new media practices, tools, systems, and strategies. The final artwork can utilize video, film, digital media, social networks, and app development, among other new media art forms. Students are billed for a materials fee. Enrollment restricted to art majors.
