The jury of the 5th annual Social Impact Media Awards gives UCSC’s Art Professor Dee Hibbert-Jones’s film, Last Day of Freedom, the SIMA 2017 Award for BEST DIRECTOR & BEST EDITING, and the Jury Prize for STYLISTIC ACHIEVEMENT in the DOCUMENTARY SHORT Category! The film was also named as a notable film by the American Library Association!
