FLOROTICA: REVEALING THE SENSUALITY OF THE MICROSCOPIC WORLD

Gary Greenberg, photographer, scientist, author and inventor of 3D microscopes will give  a presentation about his passion to create dramatic landscapes of hidden worlds beyond normal perception. In his book, Florotica, he explores the innate sensuality of the microscopic world of flowers. He lived in London for five years where he earned his PhD from University College London in developmental Biology. He is currently a Visiting Research Affiliate at the Advanced Technology Research Laboratory, University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy in Maui, where he studies Lunar sand brought to Earth during the Apollo missions. He has written two books about sand through the microscope. Dr. Greenberg will talk about his life-time journey in pursuit of Truth and Beauty.
