Join us at Reserves of Inspiration (https://norriscenter.ucsc.edu/art/events/index.html), Exploring UC Santa Cruz Natural Landscapes, an exhibit of artwork by students, alumni, and community members who have explored UCSC's Natural Reserves (https://naturalreserves.ucsc.edu/). Featured artists include alumnae Jenny Keller, Stephanie Martin, and Erika Perloff. All the artwork is for sale and benefits the Norris Center Art & Natural History Initiative (https://norriscenter.ucsc.edu/art/art-natural-history-initiative/index.html). A $5 suggested donation for adult community members is encouraged. Students and children are free.
The exhibition will be open from November 6 through December 8 at the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery at Cowell College at UCSC (https://cowell.ucsc.edu/smith-gallery/index.html). Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12-5pm.
We will also be hosting two special Open House events on Saturday November 10 from 12-5pm and Friday December 7 from 5-8pm. Come and meet the artists and see some of our specimens on display alongside the artwork. We'll also have some fun activities for families, including a few artists on hand for face-painting.
The Smith Gallery is located at Cowell College. Hourly parking meters operate weekdays and weekends at the nearest lots to the gallery.
