This Friday September 25, 2015, Yasmin Hussein will be having the opening reception of her Senior Art Show, presenting an ongoing series she has been working on titled "Home is Not a Place I'm From," it is a project recalling the many spaces she has lived in throughout her life through surreal, dream-like depictions of each building.
The body of work includes a range of large and small scale paintings on canvas as well as body painting!
Reception is this Friday 9/25 at the Eduardo Carrillo Senior Gallery, UCSC Art Department E-103 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
