Public Doors and Windows is a Portland-based art collective that includes Harrell Fletcher, Molly Sherman, and Nolan Calisch. Their art work focuses on sustainable food issues and social practice. This January they will visit UCSC to begin planning a long-term series of art projects about the UCSC Farm, where Fletcher was a 1995 Apprentice. Please join us on January 16 at 5 pm in DARC 230 as the artists speak about their practice and their vision at UCSC. Public Doors and Windows' work at UCSC is sponsored by the new Institute of the Arts and Sciences in cooperation with the Center for Agro-Ecology and Sustainable Food Systems.
