Visiting Artist Enrique Leal to present "Print Makings"

This presentation by Enrique Leal will focus on the progressively inclusive and interdisciplinary practices of print media that privilege correspondences between the procedural, material and metaphorical knowledge of visual production.

Enrique Leal is an Associate Professor (PhD) at the Facultad de Bellas Artes de Cuenca, Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, Spain, and has lectured at universities in Europe, United States and Brazil. He has received fellowships to the Spanish Academy in Rome, Akademie der Bildenden Künste of Munich and Rutgers Center of Innovative Print and Paper (Brodsky Center). Public and corporate collections that hold his work include New York Public Library, Menil Collection, Calcografía Nacional Madrid, Bibliotheque Nationale Paris, Merril Lynch, Madrid.
