Expands 3D art and design principles, methodologies, processes, and skills through structured projects using 3D printers and modeling. The metal-fabrication shop and the woodshop support students in prototyping and experimenting with construction methods and materials used in assignments. Assignments develop critical thinking, individual industry, research skills, creative expressiveness, and class participation. Students are billed a materials fee. One course from ART 20H,20K,101,102,103,107,108, 180B,183,184, or 188; and two courses from ART 15, 20G, 20I, 20J, 26 and Computational Media 25. Enrollment restricted to art majors. May be repeated for credit.
