Introduces water-based screen printing. Students are introduced to processes including basic equipment, printing techniques, printing papers, stenciling processes, and photographic and digital techniques. Emphasis is on continued development of content and aesthetic awareness through the possibilities of screen printing. Students are billed a materials fee. Prerequisites: One course from Art 20G, 26, 160B, 161B, 162A, 162B, 163A, 163B, 165, 168, or 169; and two non-print lower-division media studios from Art 15, 20H, 20I, 20J, 20K, and Computational Media 25. Enrollment restricted to art majors. Enrollment limited to 20. Course may not be repeated for credit.
