Introduction to Intermedia

Explorations of the role of an artist as someone who integrates a variety of media to explore conscious subject matter. Emphasis on contemporary art forms that incorporate scores, mapping, found objects, time-based elements, and interactivity. Students are billed a materials fee. Prerequisite(s): One course from Art 20H, 121, 122, 124, 125, 129, 172, 180B, 183, 188, or 189; and two non-sculpture/intermedia/ public art lower-division studios from Art 15, 20G, 20I, 20J, 20K, 26, and Computational Media 25. Restricted to art majors.
