“Undefined Time”

This is a composite image, part of a series of three images. Six photographs were taken from day to night and layered together in Photoshop to manipulate the passage of time expressed in each individual photograph. Though some of the images were taken at night, this particular composite image appears to have occurred within minutes rather than hours. Additionally, the subjects of the images - the objects - represent time as well.

“Coded Time”

This is a composite image, part of a series of three images. Six photographs were taken from day to night, layered together, and adjusted in Photoshop to manipulate the passage of time expressed in each individual photograph. The specific and selected layering of the photographs - similar to a barcode - creates both a sense of flow and disruption of time.

“Remixed Explosion”

This is a still image of a video remix image consisting of a variety of GIFs. The GIFs are different clips from different films, combined together to create a collage. The remix image expresses an abstract narrative of explosions and landscapes.

“Home: Remix”
This is an audio and video remix consisting of short audio clips. A variety of unique sounds were recorded and used in this remix, such as a ukulele, piano, zipper, opening a soda can, and typing on keyboards. This audio remix conveys a passage of time spent at home.
