This book was made in celebration of Valentine’s day and was a gift I made to myself in an act of self-love.

This book depicts me diving into my thoughts and exploring the surface thoughts down to lost memories. The images are painted on watercolor paper and adhered to specialty paper and show me sinking in water with floating objects depicting different thoughts like homework assignments and insecurities.

This book has paper made from recycled paper scraps and California wildflower seeds dyed with coffee. The text is about my desire to grow as a person and the steps I need to take in order to do so.
