The “Arts Staff Live!” interdepartmental music and art event, made possible with support from the Arts Division’s DEI Strategic Initiative Fund, that will celebrate and exhibit diverse creations and expressions of arts division staff members’ music groups and visual art. This event will promote the inclusion of the often less-visible arts staff members and celebrate their unique hidden talents in an entertaining Sunday afternoon of creativity.
In alignment with our DEI missions, this event seeks to promote a stronger sense of community, listen to diverse voices, cultivate a welcoming safe environment, publicly celebrate the creativity of diverse experiences within the university, and bridge these diverse expressions with the greater community. Three musical groups led by Arts Division staff will perform live, and Art Department staff will showcase and make their visual artworks available for sale.
