Hardy Hanson: Meditations
Thousands of tiny dots converge on canvas, while hundreds of tiny beads, rusty nails or bells repeat themselves to create larger pointed shapes. The paintings and sculptures in Hardy Hanson’s “Meditations” are mesmerizing and hypnotic. An exploration into the senses, this work is alive with texture and saturated, complex combinations of color. This is the final week of this exhibition at the Elosie Pickard Smith Gallery and it is not to be missed.
The show closes on Friday, November 22. If you haven’t seen it, make a special effort to stop in this week, admission is free.
