Norris Center Natural History Project Award 
This award of up to $1000* is being offered due to a generous gift of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation given to the Kenneth S. Norris Center for Natural History.  The award is for registered UCSC undergraduate students (individual or group) involved in thesis or internship projects that enhance natural history** teaching and/or research; examples include, but are not limited to: natural history displays, field guides, research projects, art, or curricula. Criteria for selection will be based on the quality of the project statement; evidence a concrete product that will further natural history teaching and/or research, a record of natural history training through Natural History Field quarter, other natural history courses, or internships; scholastic record; and demonstrated initiative and potential for successful completion.For a list of past award winners click here.
