Walk the Talk America: John Contreras (Senior Show)

Walk the Talk America was made to aid in the discussion of current issues in America involving, Mental Health, Gun Ownership, Policing Brutality and Unity.  The walls had a personal statement of where the artist, John Contreras, was coming from; the entire room was an art piece with the floor decorated in bullet shell casings and questions on the wall to help facilitate the discussion about these issues.  Involving the community, the show was an interactive piece creating sound through movement, writing on the walls provided dialogue and discussion among the student body here at UC Santa Cruz.
