“Internal”
Acrylic on Canvas
This piece is one of my favorites. Although the overall quality is lower than other paintings from this quarter, I needed to include this one. I see it as an example of all I can learn, from the visible pencil lines to the overuse of pure black. However, I see this piece as an example of free self-expression. Creating art is a vulnerable experience and sharing it with others only exemplifies that feeling. This piece is intentionally a bit much, a little creepy, or just flat-out weird, intended to make the viewer feel as vulnerable as I, the artist.
