“The Fabrics of Resistance” sprouted with the intention to be a vehicle for educating, healing, learning, and expression for both those who contribute and those who read it. The mission of the zine was to thread together voices from various social identities that dialogue on systems of oppression and call for resistance to the wounding paradigms of white supremacy. Sifting through the submissions, there was a noted collective calling in regards to the urgency in questioning a system that is unjust and violent. The hope with this project is to proliferate awareness of the movement needed to undo what makes us indifferent to injustices. May our communities continue to learn, heal, resist, and love.
