Studio-based course teaching strategies for social change, activism and organizing using new media and digital tools. Students gain experience of developing new media artworks to communicate their position on issues that affect their lived experiences and community struggles. Students develop artworks and content using new media practices, tools, systems, and strategies. The final artwork can utilize video, film, digital media, social networks, apps, games, and design among other new media art forms. (Formerly New Media and Social Practice Artmaking.)
