The Right Ring, by Megan Elizabeth Chau

Art major Megan Elizabeth Chau created The Right Ring, a short 2D animation to celebrate and embrace the aroace (aromantic asexual) experience for their senior thesis project with Professor Jennifer Parker and Maya Manvi. The Right Ring takes place in a modern fantasy world in which mages develop and learn magic by wearing unique rings and seeking out partners in spellcasting. The protagonist is a young mage who struggles with using their magic and has not yet found a compatible partner. Megan’s desire is for other people on the aromantic and/or asexual spectrums to be able to relate to the story she created.
