The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts announced today that is has selected the following artists to participate in the next round of its internationally-recognized Artist-in-Residency program. 760 artists working in a wide range of media applied from 40 states and 42 countries, including Iraq, Latvia, Nigeria and Iceland. Among those selected, UC Santa Cruz Art alumna Dana Hemenway was chosen for the Artist-in-Residency program.
