Recollections / Reflections
A collection of pieces exploring human interaction with familiar and unfamiliar environments, and how these interactions influence identity, memories, and overall global perspective. A collection of paintings and prints by Alicia Persaud, featuring new and old works across and blending different mediums: oil paintings, alcohol transfers, woodblock prints, and copper intaglio and photo-based intaglio prints, highlighting personal memories and relations with surroundings, and how these connections motivate a sense of abstracted vulnerability and reflection across mediums.
The show will run from February 20-February 26, 2020. Come join us on Friday, February 21 from 6pm - 8pm for food and drinks at the Opening Reception held at the Eduardo Carrillo Gallery, E-103, at Elena Baskin Visual Arts, UCSC.
